On this expedition, we crept along the sides of the cliff, trading places holding out our hands to one another. The men I was with told me that this waterfall was named after a sego palm tree that fell down the waterfall and took root alongside the riverbank. After harvesting some of the tree that we would later process into flour, we followed the tracks of wild pigs, climbed higher. My teachers and I continued into the forest. I followed in their footsteps of stories.
