Foot Surgery, Bahamas

I spent some time camping on Andros Island in the Bahamas. At just 20 miles from the coast of community, this isolated community worked in community gardens, made crafts, and took some time out to attend to more important matters. In this image, a splinter is removed from a woman's foot. The smiles are from shared laughter and perhaps a little pain. Due to the slide scan of this image, this print is only available as an 8x10 print.
