The Fruit Harvest, Forest Canopy

A team of kids climbs inth the canopy and works to harvest the last of the rambutan in one forest community in central Sabah. Rambutan is a juicy red fruit. It requires gauging when it is ripe, climbing into the canopy, and peeling back the layers of the red juicy fruit. Picked in bundles, it naturally involves teamwork. I made this image from an adjacent tree during the harvest. This piece involves three separate exposures mounted together. Available in three sizes, matted to 16x20, 30x40, 45x60.
