Words Inspired by Forests and People
I photograph and write because sometimes it is the only thing that makes sense. I've tried lots of other things but I keep returning to forests and people. I believe that images and the stories that come from within forests can change the world. Many of the people I work with and photograph are friends, teachers, and heros. Over the past year the words and images have become to flow more freely, this happens as the forest becomes home, this happens as I'm embraced and I learn to trust this instinct. All of my images include words from the forest. These short essays include portions of my fieldnotes and interviews. With the exception of a few items, most items below are available for free download. Your support of a donation or purchase of an art print is appreciated.
