Face of Forest Stories
I spent some time photographing this former indigenous forest nomad. He recounted stories of sunbears and his hunting dogs. During our time together the light shifted and the sun shone on the side of this man's face. I just had time to make one image before he began sweating. 'We don't like the bright sun,' I am told. 'It means that there is no forest canopy. When we are in the forest and cool we are happy.' Sizes: 8x10, 11x14, 12x18, 17x24
