River Knowledge

This is more of an image of a smile, oars gripped with confidence, and eyes of knowledge. This man, who tells me he is a retired hunter, devotes much of his life and livelihood as the Mangkuwagu village fishermen. He is expert of all things about the river and fish. When he pulls his longboat up on to the sandy banks of the community each afternoon he becomes animanted with stories, lively eyes, and the excitement of a good dinner.
