Cold Beer and Forest

During my master's research I interviewed forest experts in the Philippines. During my travels inside the rainforest I ran into this man who is named Ebon, a local term that describes forest knowledge and power. He was tending to his small plot of vegetables and plants. Under the shelter of his forest hut we shared some coconut wine (inside the coconut in this hands). A hunting spear rests in the opposing hand. Sizes: 8x10, 11x14
