Rock Creek Bighorn Montana to Utah

A mountain sheep is translocated from Montana's Rock Creek to Utah to help start a population in the Royal Gorge Wilderness study area in Utah. To make this image, I worked with biologists from Montana and Utah. I made this image just after the Bighorn was captured by helicopter net. After safely placing the sheep inside an enclosed trailer with thirty others, this image was taken through the side of the trailer. The sheep looked me in the eye, perhaps trying to gauge my strength. I felt its breath on my face. Sizes: 8x8, 14x14
