Gibbon and Forest Colors

In another primary forest, in Sarawak, a gibbon forages in between cycles of rain. I am high up in the canopy, free climbing and waiting for the gibbons to pass. After the troop passes and the forest quiets down, I can’t help myself. I reach for some of this fruit which in this tree happens to be a fig. I sit back, hear the distant ocean and daydream about spending a life partly amongst dreams, in the forest.
